In the ceremonial courtyard in front of the big Temple of Jupiter animal sacrifices were made to the highest Roman god. Often they were made in the form of a festive holy meal.
Am Zeremonialhof vor dem großen Jupitertempel wurden dem obersten Gott der Römer Tieropfer dargebracht, meist in Form einer feierlichen, heiligen Mahlzeit.
