Tongdo Temple#

The main hall shows why Tongdosa is identified with Buddha himself. Original relics of Gautama Buddha can be found inside. This is the reason why no statue is in the room, an exception in Korea.
Im Inneren der Haupthalle zeigt sich, warum Tongdosa mit Buddha selbst identifiziert wird. Der Tempel beherbergt Originalreliquien von Gautama Buddha. Aus diesem Grund befindet sich auch keine Statue im Raum, eine einmalige Ausnahme in Korea.
