High above the city a grotto was hewn into the granite rock by Kim Daeseong, the head of government of the 23th king of the Silla, 1.300 years ago. It is oriented in an eastern direction, in the direction of Japan.
Hoch über der Stadt ließ Kim Daeseong, Regierungschef unter dem 23. Silla-König, vor 1.300 Jahren eine Grotte in den Granitfelsen schlagen, die exakt Richtung Osten, d.h. nach Japan blickt.
