Korean table manners are not as strict as ours, but much more strict than in China. Burping and slurping is allowed, eating with an open mouth and snorting definitely not. Koreans use chopsticks. They eat in silence, intense conversations are not allowed. They leave the restaurant as soon as the last one on table has finished the meal.

Die Tischmanieren sind lockerer als bei uns, aber deutlich strenger als in China. Gegen Rülpsen und Schlürfen hat niemand etwas einzuwenden. Schmatzen und Schneuzen sind allerdings absolut tabu! Das Essen genießt man mit Stäbchen und möglichst schweigsam. Intensive Unterhaltungen bei Tisch sind unerwünscht. Sobald der letzte Bissen gekaut ist, steht man auf und verlässt ohne viel Worte das Restaurant.
