Kings Wall#

East of the Kings Wall is the actual center of Petra. It got today’s appearance with colonnade streets, temples and a forum in Roman times. At least until the 6th century the inhabitants went about their business here.
Im Osten der Königswand befindet sich das eigentliche Zentrum Petras. Sein heutiges Gesicht aus Kolonnadenstraßen, Tempeln und einem Forum erhielt es in der Römerzeit. Noch mindestens bis ins 6. Jahrhundert flanierten hier die Bewohner der antiken Stadt.
