The royal road leads down to the “Grand Canyon of Jordan” in long winding bends. The Wadi Mujib is 400 m deep and 4 km wide and was created by a rift in the sandstone plateau as a result of tectonic shifts.
In weiten Serpentinen führt die Königsstraße hinunter in den „Grand Canyon Jordaniens“. Das Wadi Mujib, 400 m tief und 4 km breit, entstand als Riss in einem Sandsteinplateau, verursacht durch tektonische Verschiebungen.
