Am nördlichen Fuße des Rothang-Passes zweigt eine holprige Piste ins weltvergessene Spiti Tal Spiti Valley, India ab. Sie führt in eine unverfälschte tibetische Welt, wie man sie in Tibet selbst wohl kaum noch erleben kann. Zwischen den schneebedeckten Sechs- und Siebentausendernbahnen sich die Gletscherflüsse ihren Weg Richtung Tal und machen das Vorwärtskommen mühsam. 7 Stunden dauert die 120 km lange Fahrt bis Kaza, den Hauptort des Spiti-Tals.

At the northern foot of the Rothang Pass, a bumpy dirt road branches off into the forgotten Spiti Valley Spiti Valley, India . It leads into a genuine Tibetan world, which you can barely experience in Tibet itself. Between the snow-covered six- and seven-thousand-meter glacier rivers, they make their way down the valley, making the advance difficult. The 120 km drive takes 7 hours to reach Kaza, the capital of the Spiti Valley.
