Uralt und mit reichen Steinreliefs geschmückt: im 1200 Jahre alten Shiva-Tempel des kleinen Dorfes Bajaura wird der mächtige Gott in Form eines lingams verehrt. Das männliche Phallussymbol erhebt sich über dem Yoni, einer Schale, die die weibliche Vagina repräsentiert. Sie nimmt den Samen auf und vollendet die Verschmelzung von männlichem und weiblichem Prinzip.
Ancient and decorated with rich stone reliefs: in the 1200-year-old Shiva temple of the small village of Bajaura, the mighty god is worshiped in the form of a lingam. The male phallic symbol rises above the yoni, a shell representing the female vagina. She picks up the seed and completes the fusion of male and female principles.
