Am Klosterdach symbolisiert das 'Rad der Lehre' die Verbreitung des Buddhismus. Die acht Speichen stehen für den Achtfachen Pfad zur Erleuchtung. Zwei Gazellen flankieren das Symbol und erinnern an den Gazellenpark im indischen Sarnath, wo Buddha seine erste Predigt gehalten hatte.
On the roof of the monastery, the 'Wheel of Teaching' symbolizes the spread of Buddhism. The eight spokes stand for the Eightfold Path to Enlightenment. Two gazelles flank the symbol, reminiscent of the Gazelle Park in Sarnath, India, where the Buddha gave his first sermon.
