Die Seilbahn gehört zu den längsten Europas. In schwindelerregender Höhe überspannt sie das Tal des Acharistskali – 1,7 km ohne jede Stütze. Den Bewohnern des gegenüberliegendes Dorfes erspart sie stundenlange Wanderungen durch das tief eingeschnittene Tal. Die Preise für die Seilbahn sind erschwinglich. Eine Fahrt kostet umgerechnet 30 Cent.
The cable car is one of the longest in Europe. At a dizzying height it traverses the valley of the Acharistskali - 1,7 km without a single pillar. For the inhabitants of the opposing village it is much easier to go by cable car than go on hourlong hikes through the valley. The prices for the cable car are affordable: One ride costs converted around 30 cents.
