Das Opernhaus, ebenfalls etwas außerhalb des Zentrums gelegen, wurde 1953 als Kulturpalast für die Erdölarbeiter errichtet.
The opera, also a bit outside the city center, was built in 1953 as a palace of culture for the oil labourers.
