The interior of the pagoda makes for a strange picture: One Buddha sits in front of another. The reason for that is quite profane: When the original golden Buddha was beheaded by vandals and the new head had tipped a little too much to the front, a new statue was just placed in front of the other.
Das Innere der Pagode zeigt ein eigenartiges Bild: Ein Buddha sitzt vor dem anderen. Der Grund dafür ist profan: Nachdem der ursprüngliche Goldene Buddha von Vandalen geköpft wurde und der neue Kopf ein wenig zu weit nach vorne kippte, platzierte man einfach eine neue Statue davor.
