No other building in Bagan protrudes as high as the “temple of omniscience”. Several cube-shaped units are stacked in five terraces up to the height of 64 m. The two lowest storeys served as quarters for the monks, the third as a prayer hall, the fourth as a library and the fifth as a reliquary.
Kein anderes Bauwerk in Bagan ragt so hoch auf wie der „Tempel der Allwissenheit“. Mehrere würfelförmige Aufsätze stapeln sich über 5 Terrassen zu einer Höhe von 64 m. Die ersten beiden Stockwerke dienten als Wohnquartiere der Mönche, das dritte als Gebetshalle, das vierte als Bibliothek und das fünfte als Reliquienkammer.
