Standing at the Trongsa-Dzong Trongsa Dzong, Tongsa, Trongsa, Bhutan offers an unobstructed view for kilometres, which was exactly what the sentinel positioned there, wanted. In former times it was not possible to go around the fortress and every passing traveller had to go through it, regardless of which direction he came from.
