Punakha-Dzong#

Punakha-Dzong Punakha Dzong, Punakha, Bhutan , or Punthang Dechen Phodrang, was built in 1637. Three centuries earlier, in 1328, a temple, called Dzongchung ("small Dzong") was built at the site by the saint Ngagi Rinchen. Dzongchung is still standing opposite Punakha-Dzong.
