A mountain road leads past Mount Aragaz (Aragats) to the ruin of castle Amberd (the “Unconquerable”), with a cross copula church and a windy trail between ruins of the castle, the church, old bath houses, early spring flowers, patches of snow, and glimpses of mountain peaks.
