Not far from the Space Needle you will get to the small and rather contemplative "Tilikum Place", in the middle of which stands the statue of Chief Seattle. Chief Seattle was the head of two indigenous tribes that had settled in the 19th century in what is now the city of Seattle. According to legend, the chief was well-disposed towards the first settlers and so the city recently founded was named after him. Isn't this a great story to end an even greater day in the greatests of all towns?!
