Auch künstlerisch hat jeder UN-Staat etwas beigetragen. In den Gebäuden und Gärten finden sich Artefakte aus allen Herren Ländern, darunter eine von Italien gestiftete Skulptur von Arnaldo Pomodoro. Das Kunstwerk mit dem Titel 'Sphere within Sphere' soll die Komplexität und Zerbrechlichkeit unserer Erde symbolisieren.
Every UN state has contributed something to the headquarters, also in artistic terms. The buildings and gardens house artefacts from all over the world, including a sculpture by Arnaldo Pomodoro commissioned by Italy. The artwork titled 'Sphere within Sphere' is meant to symbolize the complexity and fragility of our planet.
