The Hollywood Walk of Fame 34.1010171,-118.3442731 comprises more than 2,500 five-pointed terrazzo and brass stars embedded in the sidewalks along 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street in Hollywood in California. The stars are seen as permanent public monuments to achieve in the entertainment industry. It is a popular tourist attraction that, according to a 2003 report by the market research firm NPO Plog Research, attracts over 10 million visitors annually.

David Carradine was an American actor and martial artist. He is best known for his roles as a Shaolin peace-loving monk in the 1970s television series Kung Fu as well as for his title role in Kill Bill. He appeared in more than 100 films and was nominated four times for a Golden Globe. He was awarded a Golden Star on the Walk of Fame in 1997. Carradine died on June 3, 2009 in Bangkok, Thailand at the age of 72.
