12 km Sandstrände und ein endlos langer Boardwalk machen Ocean City Ocean City, United States , noch im Bundesstaat Maryland gelegen, zu Amerikas größtem Familienresort. Im Winter hat die Stadt 15.000 Einwohner, im Sommer kommen 130.000 Touristen dazu. Man erholt sich hier gesellschaftlich korrekt und amerikanisch bieder. Alkohol ist strikt verboten. Zum Ausgleich gibt es Fett und Zucker im Überfluss.
