Usually the canyon is walkable, but if the river carries as much water as this, it is impassable. It is surprising that all around the landscape is rather flat and that only at a length of a few kilometres the river buried itself into the ground.
Bei so viel Wasser ist der normalerweise begehbare Canyon nicht durchquerbar. Er überrascht insofern, als rundherum alles sehr eben ist, und sich der Fluss hier nur auf eine Länge von wenigen Kilometern tief eingegraben hat.
