Every Berber clan built fortified fortified castles, the so-called agadirs, near its village to store the supplies there. Some of the buildings, armed with watchtowers, are still used today. An impressive door, for which only a few trustworthy people have the key, leads into its interior.
Jeder Berberclan errichtete unweit seines Dorfes für seine Vorräte befestigte Speicherburgen, sogenannte Agadire. Die mit Wachtürmen ausgestatteten Anlagen sind zum Teil bis heute in Betrieb. Eine mächtige Tür, für die nur wenige vertrauenswürdige Personen einen Schlüssel haben, führt in das Innere.
