Now the bell tolls for the uninitiated boy. Four times he has to run and jump naked over a row of cattle to become a man. If he falls down, this is considered a heavy defeat and he will not be accepted as a tribal warrior. He has to complete the jumps successfully, because only then he is allowed to marry and have children.
Nun schlägt die Stunde des uninitierten Jungen. Viermal muß er nackt über eine Reihe von Rindern laufen und springen, um zum Mann zu werden. Fällt er dabei herunter, gilt dies als große Niederlage und verwehrt ihm die Akzeptanz als Stammeskrieger. Er muß die Sprünge erfolgreich absolvieren, denn dann und nur dann darf er heiraten und Kinder bekommen.
