A narrow dirt road leads to the foot of the mighty sandstone rocks of the Gheralta Mountains. Cliffs of up to 1000 meters rise up vertically from the plateau and right in the middle of such a cliff it is supposed to be found, the most inaccessible rock-hewn church of the region, Abuna Yemata.
Eine schmale Piste führt an den Fuß der mächtigen Sandsteinfelsen des Gheralta-Gebirges. Bis zu 1000m ragen senkrechte Felswände aus dem Hochplateau und genau in der Mitte einer solchen Felswand soll sie liegen, die am schwersten zugängliche Felsenkirche der Region, Abuna Yemata.
