Biete Amanuel#

Through a narrow gap, you can catch a first sight of the Biete Amanuel, which probably was designed as a church in the tradition of Lalibela already from the beginning: a platform, graduated all round ledges in the façade and windows with imitations of wooden beams.
Durch einen engen Spalt fällt der Blick auf die Emanuel-Kirche, die wohl von Anfang an als Gotteshaus in Lalibela-Tradition geplant war: ein Podest, abgestufte umlaufende Bänder in der Fassade und Fenster mit Holzbalkenimitationen.
