In a cliff 800 meters above Lalibela stands a small church dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The Asheton Maryam Monastery has no special features, but the efforts of the two-hour climb are rewarded by an imposing landscape and great views.
800 Höhenmeter über Lalibela liegt in einer Felswand eine kleine Marienkirche. Das Asheton Maryam-Kloster hat zwar keine Besonderheiten zu bieten, doch werden die Mühen des zweistündigen Aufstiegs durch imposante Landschaften und großartige Aussichten entlohnt.
