The masterful reliefs in the temple of Abydos show quite plainly the unusual presentation of the figures: the face in profile, but the eye as well as neck and shoulders from the front, the chest again in profile, the hips in a three-quarter view and the legs again in profile.
Die meisterhaften Reliefs im Tempel von Abydos führen sehr deutlich die ungewöhnliche Darstellungsweise der Figuren vor Augen: das Gesicht im Profil, das Auge sowie Hals und Schultern von vorne, die Brust wieder im Profil, die Hüften in Dreiviertelansicht und die Beine abermals im Profil.
