In the Pharaoh all power was united. He owned the whole country, he managed the administration and held the office of the chief judge and the chief priest. His central task was to ensure the maintenance of Maat, the moral order, through secret rituals and to prevent the world to descend into chaos.
Im Pharao war alle Macht vereint. Ihm gehörte das gesamte Land, er leitete die Verwaltung und bekleidete das Amt des obersten Richters und des obersten Priesters. Seine zentrale Aufgabe war, durch geheime Rituale die Erhaltung der Maat, der moralischen Weltordnung, sicherzustellen und damit zu verhindern, dass die Erde im Chaos versank.
