A view of the entranceway to Edinburgh Castle Edinburgh Castle, Castlehill, Edinburgh, great britain . The doorway is flanked by bronze statues of two of Scotlands greatest heroes, Robert the Bruce on the left and William Wallace (a.k.a. Braveheart) on the right. They were added in 1929 on the 600th anniversary of Bruces death.
