The Palacio de Cristal (Crystal Palace) in the Parque del Buen Retiro (Park of the Pleasant Retreat) in Madrid. Inspired by The Crystal Palace in London, it was built of glass and steel in 1887 - originally to keep alive exotic plants from the Philippines.
