Wind generation plant#

At the tiny village of Arnitha one can leave the paved road to climb high up to a wind generation plant direction Mesanangros: This is not for the feeble hearted.

The road is often only passable after some rocks have been removed, temperature drops by some 8-10 degrees and winds become very strong.

Reaching the West coast one finds almost untouristic country. The very Southern tip of Rhodes is only known by surfers for the strongest winds on the island.
