The export of tea is a main economical input of Sri Lanka. Because of the humidity and the cool temperatures the country is perfect for tea plantations. The main products are Ceylon black tea, the Ceylon white tea and the Ceylon green tea.
Der Export von Tee ist ein zentraler Einkommenspunkt Sri Lanka´s. Wegen der feuchten und relativ kalten Klimalage ist das Land perfekt für den Teeanbau. Die wichtigsten Produkte sind Ceylon Schwarztee, Grüntee und Weißer Tee.
