Rice is harvested up to three times a year on Bohol. More than 80 % of the white gold are produced on wet fields, even though this type of cultivation is extremely labour-intensive. But the yield is said to be higher. The use of machines is hardly possible.

Bis zu dreimal jährlich wird auf Bohol Reis geerntet. Mehr als 80 % des weissen Goldes werden im Nassanbau erzeugt, obwohl diese Art der Bewirtschaftung extrem arbeitsintensiv ist, dafür aber hohe Erträge verspricht. Der Einsatz von Maschinen ist kaum möglich.
