Citadel and houses of Bam / Zitadelle und Stadt von Bam#

From the highest point of the citadel you can see the court yards of the raised huge Palace of Bam, surrounded by its own fortification within the huge fortification of the entire town. Below and in the background you see numerous courtyard houses, most with domes damaged by erosion.
Vom höchsten Punkt der Zitadelle sieht man in die Höfe des großen, erhöht gelegenen Palastes von Bam, der mit einer Wehrmauer auch gegen die Stadt hin ausgestattet ist. Unterhalb erkennt man die unzähligen, von Erosion oben aufgebrochenen Gewölbe der Hofhäuser der ehemaligen Bewohner.
