The captial of Bali, Denpasar, with the international airport is in the lower part. South of Denpasar is the "Hotel-district". Many tourist never come more that a bit north of Denpasar on excursion to villages, villages often specializing in some kind of handicraft. In the map, the villages visited on this trip are shown in red. Not surprisingly, the NE part of Bali is little known by tourists, despite the gems it has to offer.
Die Hauptstadt Denpasar mit dem Flughafen liegt im untersten Abschnitt. Südlich von Denpasar ist der "Hotelbezirk", die meisten Touristen kommen nie in den Norden und Nordwesten der Insel.
