Next day we wake up cruising Fiord Bay College Fiord, USA in cloudy conditions (this and the next few pictures), where an incredible number of glaciers come down as far as the sea: the glaciers are all named after famous universities (like Harvard, etc.) hence the name. In the final cul de sac bay the cruise ship turns around twice so that you get view of all sides no matter which side of the cruise-ship you are on.

It is then back to the open sea, and a good part of the rest of the day not much but water is visible, with some sightings of remote dolphins or whales.

Yet the day is quite full: an hour talk on the cities we will visit (Skagway, Juneau, Sketchewan). Later, a meeting of potential bridge partners, a wine tasting, the Captain’s cocktail, a fancy dinner, a nice show featuring highlights from some musicals, etc.
