Wapta Falls 51.1869995,-116.576 is a waterfall located in Yoho National Park in British Columbia near the Alberta border. It is the largest waterfall of the Kicking Horse River, about 30 metres high and 150 metres (490 ft) wide. The name comes from a Nakoda Indian word meaning "river". The waterfall can be reached from the Transcanada Highway in about 30 minutes by foot.
Der beeindruckende Wapta Wasserfall liegt im Yoho National Park in British Columbia nahe der Grenze zu Alberta. Es ist der größte Wasserfall des Kicking Horse River, ungefähr 30 m hoch und 150 m breit. Er ist von der Transcanada Straße zu fuß bequem in ca. 1/2 Stunde erreichbar.
