has some interesting buildings to visit: The Cathedral of San Paolo, first mentioned in 930, Santa Maria Maggiore, probably dating back to the 5th century when it was built over a temple of Venus, the Church of San Francesco and the massive Gottifredo Palace from the mid-13th century and now housing the Town Museum.
