Al Qurazihah#

Women have to build the houses for their sons in Al Qurazihah like in other Tihama kraals. The rounded wall of the house is built of mud and the dome covering the one room is made of a grid of sticks all covered again with mud mortar. Therefore it looks like a pure mud dome from inside. Often, these domes are also painted. Outside, the entire building is protected against heat and rain by grass, which covers the entire façade. The furniture is produced by sticks covered with mud mortar.
